Sheridan Opera House photo Benko PhotographicsLyons, CO -- A day at Telluride Bluegrass doesn't end with the last soaring solo on the main stage. When the outdoor bluegrass music stops and the temperatures drop, picks and bows move indoors to the famed venues of Telluride and Mountain Village. Put away the tarps and poser pit: these intimate NightGrass shows thrive on the intimate communal energy of artists and festivarians just a few feet apart. Nightgrass stages become as crowded as the floor, with special guests waiting around every microphone (or even next to you in the crowd). These NightGrass shows compress late-night acoustic party energy into small spaces, primed for unforgettable memories...

Dan Mangan shows why he earned 2 Juno Awards last weekend. Punky foot-stompin' trio The Devil Makes Three create dancin' yellin' mayhem. From jamgrass to singer-songwriters, legends to fresh sounds, these late night sets span the breadth of Telluride Bluegrass.

Once again this year we'll be using an online lottery to sell tickets for the two most intimate venues – Sheridan and Fly Me to the Moon. The lottery for these 7 shows will be open for 48 hours: Tuesday, April 10 thru Wednesday, April 11.

All other NightGrass tickets go onsale the following Tuesday, April 17, online-only at shop.bluegrass.com. As a reminder: NightGrass tickets are completely separate from festival passes; and NightGrass tickets are non-refundable.

If your Telluride late-nights include singing a few tunes of your own, we'd love to hear you. Less than a week remains to submit up to 2 original songs for the Telluride Troubadour songwriting contest. Entries are due Friday, April 13.

If you purchased festival tickets but haven't decided on your camping/lodging, we highly recommend you finalize those plans right away. Camping passes remain for just 2 campgrounds – Lawson Hill and Mary E / Ilium. Or confirm your cozy indoor lodging with one of our festival partners in Telluride or Mountain Village. Friends @ Palm
